GTA 6 takes players to the state of Leonida and its biggest city, Vice City. The two main characters are Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval. Pre-orders opened on June 25, 2026, and the game can be pre-loaded from November 12, 2026.
At launch GTA 6 is a story-mode game: Take-Two said there is no recurring spending planned for the launch, and the game's ESRB rating has no "Users Interact" label. GTA Online (GTA V) continues as before.
A PC version has not been announced. Take-Two's CEO said the company launches "over time" on every platform with a meaningful audience.
