A leaker using the name Cyberleek has threatened to spread a playable GTA VI build before the November release. The claim, reported by Notebookcheck on October 10, comes with conditions: the build would only be released if a meme coin linked to the leaker reaches a $30 million market value. The article notes the coin's previous high was about $25 million.
The demands are about discs. Cyberleek wants Take-Two to commit to physical Xbox and PS5 versions, since GTA VI ships digitally and physical boxes contain only a download code, and to apologize for that approach. According to the report, Cyberleek has argued against all-digital games since the first leak in August.
What is not verified is the important part. Notebookcheck does not confirm that a playable build exists, and it cites a separate headline calling a 113 GB build fake. It also reports no response from Rockstar, Take-Two or Sony. The article adds that Take-Two has requested subpoenas to Discord, Reddit and other companies to identify the leaker, and that discs by November 19 look unlikely.
Our take: this is pressure marketing built around a crypto token, so be careful. Never download files that claim to be a GTA VI build. Fake builds are a common way to spread malware and steal accounts, and we will not link to any. This is not financial advice, and we do not suggest buying any coin.
