A short advertising banner has set off a new round of Trailer 3 talk. The ad reads that there is more to GTA VI on YouTube, and it has been running on Facebook and Instagram since October 7, according to a report published on October 9 that cites Meta's public Ad Library through The Leonida Daily.
The details matter. The advertiser is YouTube, not Rockstar, and the ad promotes GTA VI content on YouTube, such as podcasts and live streams. The wording does not mention a trailer at all. Rockstar has not announced a third trailer, and the same report says it has no confirmation of any other reveal tied to the ad.
That makes the more modest reading the likelier one. Rockstar's new music page mentions in-game podcasts and a full album, and YouTube is a natural place for radio and podcast clips. It could also be broader marketing before launch. We do not know, and nobody outside Rockstar does.
Our take: treat the ad as a sign that marketing is ramping up, not as a trailer date. The two official trailers are still the only ones, and you can watch both on our GTA VI hub. When Rockstar announces something, it will show up on its Newswire and here with the source.
