About rain
Håvard Nygaard, known as rain, is a Norwegian rifler and one of the longest-running stars in Counter-Strike. He rose with Norwegian lineups before joining FaZe Clan, where he spent about ten years as a core player and a consistent entry and star rifler. During that period FaZe reached two Major finals with him, at Boston in 2018 and Copenhagen in 2024, losing both. He is known for strong aim, aggressive entries and unusually long staying power at the top. In 2026 he was benched by FaZe and then joined 100 Thieves as an in-game leader, as reported by Refrag and others. This changes his role from entry-style star to team caller, and is a notable late-career shift. His longevity is an unusual achievement and he is a reference point for veteran players.
