“CS2 cheats” sounds shady, but these commands are built into the game by Valve. They only work on a server you control, and they turn any map into a training ground for smokes, flashes and aim.
Practice commands are not hacks
Let's be crystal clear. The commands here need sv_cheats 1, and that only works on your own offline or private practice server. They do nothing in official matchmaking or on any server where cheats are switched off.
Third-party cheat programs — wallhacks, aimbots, anything you download and inject into the game — are a different story. They break the rules, ruin games for everyone, and get your account VAC-banned. Use the console, not hacks.
Start your own practice server
You don't need a dedicated server for this. In CS2, open Play, choose Practice (practice with bots), pick a map and start it offline — with bots if you want targets, or without for pure grenade work. You are now the host, so server commands work for you.
Make sure the developer console is enabled first (Settings → Game → Enable Developer Console). If you have not done that yet, our CS2 console commands guide explains it in one minute.
The practice commands
Here is the full list. The table shows which ones need sv_cheats 1 — type that first, otherwise the game will ignore them. Click any command to copy it.

Copy-paste practice config
Want everything at once? Paste this single line into the console on your practice server and press Enter. It turns on cheats, ends warmup, gives you long rounds with no freeze time, money and infinite ammo, and switches on grenade lines and bullet impacts:
sv_cheats 1; mp_limitteams 0; mp_autoteambalance 0; mp_roundtime_defuse 60; mp_freezetime 0; mp_buy_anywhere 1; mp_startmoney 16000; sv_infinite_ammo 1; ammo_grenade_limit_total 5; sv_grenade_trajectory_prac_pipreview 1; sv_showimpacts 1; bot_kick; mp_warmup_end; mp_restartgame 1
Round settings like round time and start money apply properly after a restart, which is why mp_restartgame 1 sits at the end. Want to keep the bots? Just delete bot_kick; from the line.
Grenade practice workflow
Learning lineups is where these commands shine. Here is a simple loop that works on any map:
- Preview the line. With
sv_grenade_trajectory_prac_pipreview 1, you see where a grenade will fly before you throw it. Adjust your aim until the line lands where you want. - Throw and repeat. Type
sv_rethrow_last_grenadeto throw the exact same grenade again from the same spot. Bind it to a key and you can watch a smoke bloom ten times in a row. - Check from the other side. Use
noclipto fly across the map and look at your smoke from the enemy's view. Does it really block the angle? Typenoclipagain to land. - Mark your spot.
sv_showimpacts 1shows where your bullets hit, which also helps you remember exact aim points on walls.
With ammo_grenade_limit_total 5 and mp_buy_anywhere 1, you can stock up on nades without running back to spawn.
Aim training with bots
Need targets? Add bots with bot_add_t (or the CT version), freeze them in place with bot_stop 1 and practice your first shot on still heads. Turn on god so you never die, and grab any gun with give weapon_ak47 — swap the weapon name to practice others.
When the session gets messy, mp_restartgame 1 resets the round and bot_kick clears every bot in one go.
Take it to real players
Practice only pays off when you use it in real rounds. Retake servers are perfect: every round drops you straight into a site fight, so you throw your new lineups again and again.
