About magixx
Boris Vorobyev, who plays as magixx, is a Russian rifler who has been tied to Team Spirit since 2019 and came through the system to become one of its core players. He is regarded as a reliable, adaptable rifler who fills whatever gap the team needs, whether that is entry support or a more passive anchor role. He was a main part of Spirit's 2024 breakthrough, winning IEM Katowice, the BLAST Spring Final and the Shanghai Major, the last of which was the organisation's first Major title. In July 2025 he was moved off the active lineup after the Austin Major and spent several months inactive, but he returned in December 2025 and Spirit won PGL Astana 2026 against Falcons in May. He matters because he represents the homegrown core of one of the strongest rosters of recent years and has stayed relevant through major roster turns.
