donk: CS2 player profile

donk is a Russian rifler from Tomsk who came through Team Spirit's academy system and reached the main roster in 2023 while still a teenager. He plays one of the most aggressive entry roles in the scene, taking first contact in many rounds and winning an unusually high share of opening duels, which opens space for the rest of Spirit. His breakthrough came in 2024: he was named HLTV Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year, and Spirit won the Perfect World Shanghai Major, where he was the tournament MVP. He has since stayed among the top players in the world, collecting several HLTV MVP awards and repeated highlight and opener accolades. He also became the youngest player to pass one million dollars in prize money. His fast, high-risk style has changed how many teams think about what a single rifler can do.
