About device

device is a Danish AWPer who is the cornerstone of the Astralis dynasty that dominated Counter-Strike between 2017 and 2019. He joined the organisation when it was formed in 2016 and helped win four Majors in total, the first team to do so, with MVP honors at London 2018 and Berlin 2019. He was a consistent top-three player in HLTV's ranking and also won the IEM Grand Slam during Astralis' peak. His calm, patient AWP play, strong positioning and ability to anchor sites defined the Danish squad's game. After leaving Astralis in 2021 for Ninjas in Pyjamas, he returned in 2022 for a second period, but form and results declined as the lineup changed. In January 2026 he signed with 100 Thieves, where his former IGL gla1ve became head coach.
