According to Analytics Insight and a GameRant piece republished on OpenCritic, Rockstar's recent GTA VI drops, including the Netflix Extended Look and the preview of all six radio stations, arrived on Thursdays. We can confirm the radio preview ourselves: Rockstar added its music page with the six stations on Thursday, October 8. Both articles stress that Rockstar never mentioned October 15 and that a new trailer, if it comes, is a guess.
What is official right now is short. GTA VI releases on November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, pre-orders have been open since June 25, pre-load starts on November 12, and the ESRB rating is M (Mature 17+). Rockstar has released two trailers so far. A third trailer has not been announced.
Our take: a pattern is not a promise. Rockstar has surprised fans on other days of the week before, and months of Thursday hopes have ended in silence more than once.
