Liquid came from a Dutch gaming community founded in 2000 and put together its first CS:GO roster in January 2015 after merging with Team Curse. It was the first North American side to reach a Major grand final, at Cologne 2016. Its 2019 line-up swept four big events in 63 days to complete the Intel Grand Slam, a record pace. The org has no Major trophy, so it is still chasing that last prize. In 2025-26 it rebuilt around EliGE and NAF with a new North American-leaning group.
