About 9z

9z was founded by Francisco Postiglione in 2018 and announced its CS:GO roster in April 2019, quickly becoming the leading non-Brazilian team in South America. After years of roster churn it settled on a South American lineup of Argentines, Uruguayans and a Chilean. In 2022 it was the first non-Brazilian Latin American side to qualify for a Major, and in 2026 it reached the Cologne Major playoffs after a reverse-sweep win over Vitality. Valve's August 2026 ranking placed it fourth in the world.

9z is still chasing its first Major title in the results we checked. Rankings change after every big event, so use the table above as a snapshot and check the standings again after the next tournament.
