About molodoy
Danil Golubenko, known as molodoy, is an AWPer from Semey in Kazakhstan who rose from local LANs to the top of the sport in a short time. He played for small teams such as ALLINNERS and DMS, then AMKAL, before FURIA brought him in during April 2025 after a practice session with FalleN, despite a language barrier. His aggressive, confident AWP play quickly earned him MVP awards at FISSURE Playground 2 and IEM Chengdu in 2025, and he finished sixth in HLTV's Top 20 players of 2025, a remarkable breakthrough. He then helped FURIA reach the IEM Cologne Major final in 2026, which they lost to Falcons. He matters as one of the fastest rising stars of the era and a prominent face of Kazakh Counter-Strike.
