The story of ESL One Cologne 2015
ESL One Cologne 2015 was Fnatic’s third Major and the moment they became the first team to win two Majors in a row, after Katowice. They beat Team EnVyUs 2–0, winning a tight first map on Dust II 19–15 and then taking Cobblestone 16–7, and Robin "flusha" Rönnquist was named MVP. The event had some off-server firsts too: it was the first ESL tournament to require drug tests, and every result came back negative. Team Kinguin was the only new Legend, replacing mousesports, which had not made the top eight. Valve changed the map pool around the event, removing Nuke and bringing back Train for the first time since the 2014 Katowice Major. The broadcast reached about 27 million viewers over the weekend, with a peak of 1.3 million concurrent viewers, which (about 27 million viewers in total).
