Callout names can differ a little between teams and regions. Some spots have several names, so agree on names with your team.
How to call enemies well
Use the callout, the number of enemies and what they do. For example: "Two Long, one pushing Pit." Keep it short and say it right away. Do not talk over a teammate who is calling.
Practice callouts
Load a map in practice mode, walk each area and say the name aloud. Use the commands in our CS2 command list to add bots and slow things down. For a wider look at the current map pool, read our maps and callouts overview.
Which maps are in the pool?
Valve changes the Active Duty map pool over time. Check the in-game map selection for the current list. The three maps here are classics with stable names.
