What makes AION 2 different
The story takes place 200 years after the first AION. The Tower of Eternity is gone, and the two factions face a stronger Balaur enemy. NC says the world is 36 times larger than the original, and the game uses Unreal Engine 5. Flying is not just travel. Aerial combat is a core feature.
Your first hour
Expect a guided start with quest markers and short fights. The game unlocks more systems as you level, so do not worry about menus you do not understand yet. Some journal content, such as Duties, may unlock only after level 45.
