Are Skyrim mods safe? Nexus, Steam Workshop and Creations

Skyrim's mods are famous. People have changed graphics, quests, combat and more. They are also the main safety question for players. The facts below come from Wikipedia and Bethesda; the safety checklist is our advice.

Bethesda's August 20 update raised console mod storage to 15 GB on PS5 and Xbox, according to Bethesda and Notebookcheck. It also added a "Most Popular" sort and new tags for Verified Creators. Bethesda says existing load orders should be unaffected but advises loading a save once.
