CS2 Aim Training: A 20-Minute Daily Routine That Works

Step 1: Warm up (5 minutes)

Community servers also run aim maps (names start with aim_) and 1v1 arenas (names start with am_ or similar). They are perfect for training duels. Open the CS2 server list and filter by mode to find them.

Set up your own practice server

Training only works if you can see it working. Once a week, play the same short routine and write down how it felt: how many duels you won in the 1v1 arena, how clean your first bullets were, how often your crosshair was at head height when an enemy appeared. Small notes show you what is improving and what is not.

Common aim mistakes

• Changing sensitivity every day. Pick one and stay with it for weeks. Muscle memory needs time.
• Moving while shooting. Stop first, then shoot, then move again.
• Training tired or angry. A short break beats a bad session.
• Skipping the warm-up. Cold hands miss.
