How to start
- Pick a platform. Black Ops 7 and Warzone run on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Warzone no longer supports PS4 and Xbox One, and Modern Warfare 4 does not come to them at all.
- Create or log in to an Activision account. You need it to play online.
- On PC, install the Call of Duty app from Steam, Battle.net or Xbox on PC. The Steam page says it supports Modern Warfare 4, Black Ops 7 and Warzone.
- Start with Warzone if you want to try it for free. Learn the controls in a casual match.
- Check your storage space. PC games in this series are very large, and Modern Warfare 4 asks for 115 GB of SSD space.
Tips for your first week
- Turn on crossplay only if you want to meet players on other systems.
- Play team modes first. They teach maps and weapons faster than solo play.
- Lower your sensitivity if you miss a lot, then raise it slowly.
- Do not buy accounts, boosts or cheat software. They break the rules and can get you banned.
