Standard vs Ultimate
| Standard | Ultimate | |
|---|---|---|
| Price (US) | $79.99 | $99.99 |
| Base game | Yes | Yes |
| Ultimate Edition Upgrade | Optional add-on | Included |
| Physical box | Yes (code) | No |
Rockstar's support page says the upgrade adds 16 bonus items: vehicles, weapons, clothing and shop locations. They unlock as you progress through the story. Standard owners can buy the upgrade later as a digital add-on.
The Vintage Vice City Pack
Digital pre-orders and purchases of either edition made before November 20, 2026 get the pack. It includes a 1955 Vapid Stanier sedan with a garage, outfits and hairstyles, and an exclusive weapon pattern, plus one month of GTA+. Physical pre-orders get the game code and the pack. The page does not mention GTA+ for physical copies.
Is the Ultimate Edition worth it?
That depends on how much you care about extra cosmetics and vehicles. The bonus items are tied to story progress, so they do not give a head start. Standard owners can add the upgrade later, so there is no pressure to decide today.
Physical copies
The box has a download code. It ships or is ready for pickup from November 12. On PlayStation, codes are tied to the region of your account. Xbox codes are not region-locked.
What is not announced
Rockstar has been clear about the editions, but several things people ask about have no answer yet. Do not pay for any "price leak" site; only the Rockstar page and your console store count.
- A PC version or price.
- Any price outside the regions above.
- Install size.
