How to use your crosshair in CS2

  1. Start CS2 and enable the developer console in the game settings if it is off.
  2. Press the ~ key to open the console.
  3. Paste the copied commands and press Enter. The crosshair changes immediately.
  4. To keep it, add the commands to your autoexec file.

What each setting does

Size is the length of each line, thickness is how wide the lines are and gap is the empty space in the middle. A negative gap makes the lines meet in the center. Outline adds a thin black border so the crosshair stays visible on bright maps. The commands use a custom color (color mode 5) with separate red, green and blue values.

Tips for a good crosshair

Pick a color that stands out on the maps you play. Many players choose green, cyan or pink. Keep the crosshair small enough to see the target but big enough to track. Try it in a practice match before ranked games.

FAQ

Does this work in CS2?

Yes. The commands are the standard CS2 crosshair settings. Paste them in the console.

Is the preview exact?

It is close but not pixel perfect. The game scales the crosshair with your resolution, so check it in a practice match.

Can I share my crosshair?

Copy the commands and send them to a friend. They paste them in their own console.

Do I need to download anything?

No. The tool runs in your browser and nothing is uploaded.
