Riot calls Patch 26.20 the Worlds patch. It tunes Summoner's Rift for pro play before the World Championship starts on October 15. Riot's schedule lists the patch for October 7, 2026 (Pacific time). Facts below come from Riot's patch notes and support pages, checked on October 9, 2026.
Key takeaways
- Ambessa and K'Sante are nerfed. Kennen and Kindred are buffed.
- Rocketbelt trades ability haste for more active damage.
- Replay downloads on third-party sites are removed. You can only access replays of your own matches.
- The next patches are scheduled for October 21, November 4 and November 18.
Balance changes
Riot says Rocketbelt's ability haste falls from 20 to 10, while its active damage rises from 100 (+10% AP) to 135 (+15% AP). Experimental Hexplate and Runaan's Hurricane are weakened, and several tank items gain health regeneration. Press coverage also lists buffs for champions such as Lillia, Vayne, Smolder and Neeko. Check the official notes for exact numbers.
Private replays
Riot links this change to closing security holes that cheat makers used. Replays stay viewable inside the game client, but only your own matches are available.
Game modes and rewards
Classic returns Aatrox, Caitlyn, Irelia, Karma and Quinn with Valor. The Act II Battle Pass arrives in Patch 26.21. Mayhem and ARAM get small changes, and Ranked 5s queue hours are extended to 4am server time. New HEARTSTEEL skins also became available on October 7.
