Our check looks at our own data (for example how many players we count). It can show a drop when the cause is on our side, so always compare with the official page.
We do not see problems with Epic Games at the moment. Our checks and the official status page (where available) look normal.
Common causes are a short outage, a game update, your own connection or a firewall. Restart the game, check the official status page and try again in a few minutes.
We read the official status page when one exists, and we track Epic Games services such as Fortnite, the Epic launcher and the store. For player-based games we compare the players online now with the usual level for this hour.
