In our previous Developer Notes for The Grounds, we shared that we were actively investigating incorrect Attribute Point (AP) costs for certain upgrades. Now that we’ve had a chance to evaluate a couple weeks of live gameplay, we want to share an update on where things stand and outline the next steps we are taking.
When we designed the Player Archetypes system as part of FC 27, our goal was to create progression routes that allowed players to build their Pros with distinct differences in both Attributes and PlayStyles to fit their unique tactical preferences.
With the live data that we now have following the worldwide launch of the game, we are adjusting Attribute Point costs to better align the system with our intended design for Archetype identity.
