Patch 5.00b
Press reports say it brought back missing DLSS in the Xbox Play Anywhere PC version and brightened interiors that were too dark. It also tuned the console versions to match PC. One report notes it had no performance improvements.

Hotfix 5.00c (PC)
| Area | Fix |
|---|---|
| Saves | Saving and loading with special characters in the Documents path |
| Audio | Voice volume jumping after pause menus |
| Visuals | Tweaks to Velen bloom, vegetation lighting, saturation and path-traced light |
| Hair | Reverted a HairWorks change that hurt performance |
| GOG only | Achievement lists and launching classic 1.32 |
What is next
CD PROJEKT RED named five items for a coming update, with PS5 performance first. It also lists visual tweaks, fixes for My Rewards and Twitch Drops, more Ukrainian localization on consoles and console voice-over fixes. No date was given.
How to stay updated
Patches roll out per store, so your platform may get an update at a different time than another. Turn on automatic updates in Steam, GOG, Epic or your console. After a patch, check that your save still loads before you play for hours. If you see a problem, report it through the CD PROJEKT RED support portal, which the studio says it is watching.
Why patches matter
The base build is version 5.00, and the Remaster did not add or remove quests. If you are deciding what to expect, read what is new in Remastered and the PC requirements.
