WARDOGS is a PC shooter where teams of soldiers fight each other online. We checked the Steam page on October 9, 2026 and found no ESRB or PEGI rating. This guide explains what we do know.
Key takeaways
- No official age rating was found. Steam lists killing with weapons and melee combat.
- Players can talk to each other in chat and proximity voice.
- The game costs $39.99 with no battle pass or loot boxes.
- It installs kernel-level anti-cheat software.
Content
The game is about military combat between players. Expect gun violence, vehicles and explosions. We cannot give an official age label, so parents should watch some gameplay first. Because the game is a realistic military shooter, we treat it as better suited to older teens and adults.
Online interaction
Steam lists online PvP, in-game chat and online interactivity. The developers describe proximity voice chat, which players on nearby teams can hear. Strangers can speak to your child. Talk about muting, blocking and reporting. The patch notes mention a report system and bans for cheaters and exploit abuse.
Spending
| Item | Price (Oct 9, 2026) |

| Standard Edition | $39.99 |

The developers say there is no battle pass and that in-game cash and gold bars are not sold. Extra items are cosmetic. Prices may change.
Computer safety
Steam says the game uses kernel-level anti-cheat and needs a third-party EULA. Parents who manage the PC should read these terms. Steam refunds follow its normal rules.
Simple family rules
- Agree on play time.
- Use friends-only voice chat when possible.
- Tell your child to leave the lobby if someone is rude.
