Spoiler note: safe and door codes only unlock optional loot or quest rooms, but a few sit inside story missions. This list gathers codes reported by guide sites for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl and the Cost of Hope expansion. We cross-checked the main base-game codes against two independent guides, and the expansion codes come from a single guide, so they are marked. Checked October 15, 2026.
Key takeaways
- Railway Maintenance Facility in Zaton: 2468. It holds the PSZ-5I Hawk armor set.
- Intercom Tower safe at the Cement Factory: 030794. It holds the GP-25.
- Distant Mirage blue locker (Cost of Hope): 8536. One guide reports it as ammo, healing items and supplies.
- We could not confirm a code for the Rascal stash in any guide we checked, so we are not listing one.
- Reports say most codes stay the same between playthroughs, so you can often type them in without finding the clues first.

Tips for opening safes
If a code does not work, you are probably at the wrong door: several areas have more than one lock, such as the two Garbage factory doors with different numbers. Save before entering a code so you can return if a story trigger starts. For gear advice, see our best weapons guide, the carry weight guide and the Cost of Hope explainer.
