Roleplay is talking. Choose a server where you can chat easily. Use the language filter on the RedM server list and pick one with players online right now.
2. Read the rules first

3. Build a simple character
You don't need a perfect backstory on night one. A name, a rough idea of where your character comes from and what they want is enough. A simple character is easy to play and you can add details as the story grows.
4. Test your microphone
Most RedM servers are voice roleplay. Check your microphone before you join, so you don't spend the first ten minutes fixing audio. Speak clearly and don't use voice changers unless the server allows them.
5. Ask for help in the right place
Stuck? Don't break character to ask the whole town. Many servers have a help channel on Discord or a staff chat for out-of-character questions. Use it.
6. Start with a simple job
Farming, hunting, delivering goods or working in a store are classic first jobs. They teach you the map and the economy, and you meet people while you work.
