What the numbers mean

The minimum spec is for playing, not for smooth play. The recommended spec asks for 64 GB of RAM, which is unusual. Large maps and many players use a lot of memory. If you have 16 GB, close other apps before a raid.

Setup checklist

Check your Windows version, RAM and free disk space.
Create a Battlestate account. You can link it to Steam.
Install the game on an SSD if you can, to cut loading times.
Update your graphics driver.
Start with medium settings, then raise them if your frame rate is stable.

Tips for lower-end PCs

Lower texture and shadow quality first, because they use the most memory and graphics power. Keep the game on its own drive if possible, and avoid running browsers or recording software in the background. Test changes in an offline practice session so you can compare frame rates fairly.

Upgrade plans

Battlestate has said on its roadmap that a Unity 6 engine update and FSR 4.0 are planned for the third quarter of 2026. The roadmap was published in June 2026. It is a plan, not a confirmed date.
